Lunch Ambassador
Greetings and thank you for expressing interest in becoming a Lunch Ambassador! We believe that collaboration between parents and schools creates a strong foundation for our learning community. The guidelines for our Program are listed below:
Security
ASSIGNED DAY (Your shift) → Sign in at the front office; please wear any LMS t-shirt and/or flare so you can be easily recognized by the staff and students.
Lunch Locations
The students are assigned tables based on their 3rd period (Purple/A-Day) & 7th period (Gray/B-Day) classes. We will need our volunteers to monitor both areas inside and outside. We ask that you please move around the lunch areas to help monitor the tables.
PLEASE WATCH FOR AND REPORT ANY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR TO AN ADMINISTRATOR (Language, bullying, rough housing, etc).
Questions/Assistance
At any time, please ask the administration, teachers, officer (SRO), etc.
Student Interaction
You may definitely interact with the kids! We expect dads to play games, basketball, sing Happy Birthday, and help kids with lunch issues (opening containers, etc.) when needed. The kids really do enjoy adults being around the school during lunch.
